In light of issues raised in the ‘RTE Investigates’ programme regarding illegal dumping and waste management malpractice, Matt Carthy MEP said: “Like almost every debacle in recent times, it’s impossible to examine scandal of illegal dumping without reflecting on privatisation & outsourcing agenda of FF & FG governments. Waste management is a public service, it should be publicly owed & managed.”
